Wimbledon 2026: Which Brits handed wildcards for the main draw?

10 British players were handed wildcards for the men’s and women’s singles main draw at Wimbledon later this month, alongside many more for qualifying, doubles and wheelchair events.

Six Brits have already secured direct entry to the singles competitions – Emma Raducanu, Katie Boutler, Francesca Jones, Cam Norrie, Jack Draper and Jan Choinski – after being ranked high enough, and they will be joined by a strong British contingent following the wildcards announcements.

In the men’s singles, Arthur Fery, Toby Samuel, Jack Pinnington Jones and Jacob Fearnley all received wildcards for the main draw after a strong 12 months on tour.

Fery qualified for the main draw at the Australian Open and reached the second round while Toby Samuel also made his first appearance at a Grand Slam last month after qualifying for the main draw at Roland Garros.

Pinnington Jones won his maiden ATP Challenger title in July, 2025, at Nottingham Challenger II while Fearnley finished as the runner-up at Ilkley Open last week.

Henry Searle, Oliver Tarvet and Johannus Monday received wildcards for the men’s singles qualifying draw while four all-British men’s pairs  – Ben Jones and Joshua Paris, David Stevenson and Marcus Willis, Dan Evans and Searle, Monday and Harry Wendelken – were among those to have been awarded in the double’s main draw.

For the women’s singles, six British players received wildcards into the main draw, which included teenage stars Mika Stojsavljevic and Hannah Klugman, who just won her maiden WTA match at the Nottingham Open.

Joining them will be Alicia Dudeney, Katie Swan, Harriet Dart and Mimi Xu, with the former two enjoying strong campaigns to date, including four ITF singles titles for Dudeney and back-to-back titles for Swan in Japan.

In the double’s on the women’s side, six all-Brit partnerships have received wildcards alongside Olivia Nicholls, who won the doubles title at the Queen’s Club with Terez Mihlikova.

The British pairings are Boutler and Heather Watson, Madeleine Brooks and Amelia Rajecki, Jodie Burrage and Stojsavljevic, Freya Christie and Eden Silva, Harriet Dart and Maia Lumsden and Alicia Dudney with Mimi Xu.
